Features
Wings are dark brown. The upperwings feature white and yellow patches. The under forewings has white markings, while the hindwings feature mainly yellow markings with red spots near the base. Female is duller in color and has rounder apex on the forewings.
Behaviour
Flight is slow. There is a significant difference in population between winter and summer, as it suddenly increases in winter. Caterpillars feed on host plant Dendrotrophe varians.
